Weather, Time and Gated Forms
The developer states plainly that which creatures you meet depends on environment, weather, phenomena and time of day. That is not flavour text — it is a spawn system, and it is the reason two players can walk the same route and see different things.
The five weather states
| Weather | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sun | The default sky; most spawns available |
| Rain | Rain-only spawns and rain-only forms |
| Thunder | A separate state from rain, with its own spawns |
| Snow | Cold-weather spawns and snow-gated forms |
| Prismana Flow | The rare sky tied to Prismana forms |
Note that thunder is not rain. They are separate states with separate spawn tables, and conflating them is one of the easier mistakes to make when you are hunting something specific.
Time of day
Spawns are also gated by day and night. Combined with weather, that means a specific creature may require a specific pair of conditions — night and rain, for instance. If you have searched for something repeatedly in the wrong half of the day, that is usually the explanation.
Prismana Flow is the one that matters
Prismana and Sparkling variants are the reason to care about any of this, and Prismana is the better-documented of the two.
A Prismana form is drawn to a specific ecosystem under Prismana Flow, which makes it a scheduling problem rather than a luck problem. Community coverage describes a weekly rotation in which a Prismana form is drawn to one precise ecosystem per week, with the ecosystems stacking toward the end of the cycle.
We are not publishing the schedule. It is community-reported, it changes weekly by definition, and a static table of it would be stale within days of publication. The reliable version is the one in your own game — check the current rotation rather than a page.
For the guaranteed route that does not depend on weather at all, see evolution and forms: reaching the Junior Wayfarer rank lets you choose a Prismana-form Aniimo for free.
Regional forms are a different axis
Do not confuse weather variants with regional forms. Regional forms are tied to permanent location, not to conditions — a creature with a coastal variant has that variant where the coast is, in any weather. Weather gates what appears; location gates which version of it.
A practical hunting loop
- Pick a target from the index and check its element and habitat notes.
- Check what it is gated on. If it is weather-gated, you are scheduling around the weather, not searching.
- Set the time of day deliberately. Half of “it never spawns” complaints are day and night.
- Bring the right pods. A gated spawn is a spawn you may not get a second attempt at.
