System Requirements

The published PC requirements, the storage numbers per platform, and the two known client problems with official fixes.

Aniimo is a large open world running on a wide range of hardware, which is why the published floor is genuinely low — a GTX 970. These are the developer's own numbers, republished from the 14 September pre-download notice.

Storage by platform

  • PC — 40 GB of available space, per the official requirement.
  • iOS and Android — roughly 18 GB, per the mobile requirements published on 14 September.
  • Console — reported at 30 to 35 GB.
  • These are capacity requirements, not download sizes. Leave headroom.
  • An open world streams a lot of terrain; an SSD changes how the game feels, not whether it runs.

Intel crash notice

Pawprint published a dedicated notice about crashes on systems with 13th- and 14th-generation Intel Core desktop processors, including the root cause as the developer understands it and the steps it recommends. If your client closes on its own and you are on one of those chips, this is the first page to read — it is a documented issue rather than a fault in your install.

Black screen on first entry

The developer's own troubleshooting advice covers a black screen appearing when you enter a certain area for the first time: update your graphics driver, try switching between DirectX 11 and DirectX 12, and disable DLSS Frame Generation. These are mitigations the studio has published, not community workarounds.

Console and cloud

  • PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are both supported at launch.
  • Xbox Cloud Gaming is confirmed as a launch platform, so a supported Xbox device can stream it.
  • The game is on Game Pass day one across Cloud, Console and PC.
  • Controller support is listed on Steam as full on PC — unlike a PC-only early-access release, the controller layout is a first-class input, not an afterthought.
8 GB is the floor The recommended tier doubles the RAM to 16 GB and steps the GPU up to an RTX 3060. If you are building or buying for this, the recommended column is the one that matters — the minimum is what the client will open on, not what the world will hold up on.
