Lunara vs Helion: Which Starter?
Before you catch anything, Aniimo asks you to pick between two special Aniimo — creatures that sit outside the numbered index rather than in it:
- Lunara — No.99996
- Helion — No.99998
Both appear on the developer’s own creature index, which is where the numbering above comes from.
What is confirmed
That is genuinely most of it, and it is worth being straight about why. This wiki publishes creature data only once it has been transcribed from the official wiki item page, and that transcription has not reached these two yet. What is established:
- Both exist, both are starters, and both are selectable at the same point in the story.
- They are special entries, not part of the numbered 001-onward roster.
- Both have combat forms that are relevant to how they play.
- Reporting across independent outlets describes them as stat-identical, with the difference living in their skills and their combat forms rather than in raw numbers.
What that means in practice
If the stat-identical reporting holds, then the starter choice is about skill feel and element coverage, not about picking the stronger one. That is actually the good version of a starter choice: it means you are not locked out of a viable game by picking wrong.
The practical way to decide, until the stat blocks are transcribed and dated here:
- Read each one’s element in the game and check it against the type chart. Your starter’s element is the one you will have the most practice with, so cover the hole your planned team will leave open later.
- Try both skill sets in the tutorial fights. The tutorial exists precisely so you can feel the difference before committing.
- Do not overthink it. Both are on the roster you can build out later; the starter is a starting point, not a build.
What we are not going to tell you
We are not going to rank them, name a winner, or print a skill table of numbers we have not verified. Starter advice is exactly where fan sites fill gaps with confident invention, and it is the kind of advice that stops being true at the first balance patch.
