What every page carries
- A “Last verified” date, so you can judge how stale an answer is in a game that patches often.
- A visible label on anything community-reported rather than official.
- No creature stats that are not on the developer's own wiki, because a wrong base stat silently corrupts every build advice that follows it.
- No catch rates other than the ones the game itself publishes.
Claims we currently refuse to make
Each of these is repeated across fan sites. None of them traces to an official statement, and several contradict each other. Publishing them would make this wiki look more complete and less correct.
- A total creature count — official material says more than 200, the official index numbers creatures individually, and fan databases count forms. They do not agree, so we do not restate any of them as the answer.
- The number of regions in Idyll — fan sources say both 16 and 17 in the same week.
- A publishing label other than the one on the store page.
- Sanctuary, tower and collectible counts.
- A “Core Courses” progression system, a “Hollow Battle Interlink” mode, or a “Legendary Token” currency — none appears in official material.
- Published or estimated stats for any creature the official wiki has not listed yet.
- The Umbral name for anything other than the documented guaranteed-Perfect variant.
A worked example of why this matters
The official site's own homepage carousel labels several Aniimo with numbers that do not match the official wiki's index — the same creature is given a different number in two places, both published by the developer. Where they disagree, this wiki follows the wiki index, because that is the same numbering the in-game Aniilog uses.
That is the whole method in one paragraph: when two primary sources disagree, say so and say which one you followed. Do not average them and do not quietly pick the more convenient one.
Corrections
If you have an official source we have missed — a developer post, a patch note, a screenshot of the in-game panel — send it. Corrections with a citation get applied; corrections without one usually turn out to be the thing we were avoiding.
